Simpliciti Restricted Browser

The Settings View is used by administrators to identify the web pages for use in Simpliciti Restricted Browser.

The settings view provides the following options for you to configure your kiosk:

URL: Insert your desired web page. (www.yoursite.com)
Custom Error URL: Is the page that will be displayed if your main kiosk page is not available. The entry format is (www.yourerrorpage.com). If none is entered then our default error page will be displayed if an error occurs.
Company Logo: This option allows you to replace the logo that appears on popup Dialogs with a logo of your choice. (there is no need to distribute the logo independently as it is embedded in the workspace.)
Scheme: Schemes allow for a custom appearance of dialogs and the navigation bar.
Print Button: Turn on/off the display of the print button on the browser navigation bar.
File Downloads: Turn on/off the option for the browser to allow for downloads. (if switched requires a restart of Kiosk advantage to take effect. (This function works in a similar way to web restrictions, see Web Restrictions Wizard for more detail)
Navigation Bar: Turn on/off the navigation bar for the main interface screen. (if switched to Yes, then all navigation must be provided by the Web page)
Nuisance Popup: Turn on/off the ability to block nuisance popups.
Address Bar: Turn on/off the address bar for the main interface screen.
Security: Secured functions & Change admin password. .
Web restrictions. These restrictions limit the sites that can be visited by your restricted users. You only need to set restrictions if you have links on your web page that allow users to navigate to other sites that you wish to restrict access. (if you do put in restrictions make sure you add an entry for your web home page.)
Inactive URL. This URL (www.yourattract.com) entry allows for a page to be displayed when the program is not active or the user has left it inactive for a period of time. Going to the inactive URL clears all information from the last users session and resets any navigation to the main home page. If you do not wish to utilize this functionality, simply set the Inactive Timer to 0
Activate after: This timer allows you to specify the period of inactivity that can pass before the attract loop is started. Typically set at 60 seconds or greater.
